Hiya hun, just checking this out whilst I strive for inspiration for my report.
This looks tons like (apart from not ACTUALLY looking like it!lol) the cappuccino semi-freddo in the Dear Francesca book I told ya about. It is heavenly but you make it in a loaf tin & serve it cut into slices rather than pieces. Oh & it is sooo easy to make!!
Like your new blog by the way!

Thanks sweets. I noticed it when I started looking for "a nice fucking cake" (have you listened/watched Dylan Moran yet?) as opposed to the ugly one I emailed you earlier. This one caught my eye because it looks so much like a giant Nanaimo bar. Also: Wikipedia entry on Nanaimo bars, in case you've never heard of them. I actually don't really like them — they are wayyyy too sweet.
What on earth is a semi-freddo?? Oo, I see! I found a Nigella Lawson honey & pine kernels(!?!) one, but it is this Raspberry Limoncello Semifreddo that will have me venturing into the kitchen soonest! Yum!!
